Scott Pilgrim was brilliant! I see a lot of other comic creators who've been inspired by some of the elements of the SP books. For example, Brian Wood's the New York Four had a lot of the descriptive boxes like SP, and I don't think that Black Metal would exist if SP hadn't of been made. I could be wrong about these people's inspirations, but Bryan Lee O'Malley's work has definitely had an impact on the industry. Thanks for watching!!! When I was at '09 ECCC I hit the Oni panel (O'Maley wasn't there) and when someone asked about Scott Pilgrim and it's effect on comics the guys (I won't mentions names) sort of rolled there eyes.
